ABOUT ABOUT
This is a one day class by Matt Torbin for getting people started creating their own websites, and understanding just enough of the internet to get a project done. Putting up a website involved picking the kind of site, where and how you want it hosted, and then designing it so it fits your own style. This is a 4 hours class, 2 hours of instruction before a light lunch (provided) and 2 hours of workshop afterwords.

During this class students will learn how to get a website up and running quickly and easy, but still have it look awesome. They will also learn the basics of some basic website tools, and rough guides for how to make a consistent look. The 2nd half of the class will be a hands-on workshop where you can start getting setup, with a few
geeks and web-nerds to help out.
